Employment Opportunity MWH Group, P.C., a well-established Wichita Falls, Texas CPA firm with six owners, is seeking a tax professional to serve the needs of our client base. Our firm has built its reputation on providing value to our clients through excellent and prompt service. Our firm provides assurance and accounting, tax compliance and planning, consulting, valuation and litigation support, and estate planning services.
Currently, we are seeking an exceptionally energetic professional to join our tax and consulting team at the senior or manager level.
Duties include:
1. Review and preparation of tax returns
2. Tax Planning
3. Tax research
4. Tax compliance
5. Estate, gift and trust tax returns
To qualify, candidates must:
Must have a current Certified Public Accountant’s license or be a CPA candidate and 5+ years of experience in tax compliance and planning Have a minimum of one year experience supervising and directing work of staff Possess a high proficiency in Word, Excel and tax preparation software — experience with CCH ProSystem fx a plus Be deadline and detail oriented demonstrating initiative and excellent time management skills Be able to oversee many projects simultaneously while maintaining client contact and supervising staff Be of high integrity and maintain confidentiality of information Possess effective written and oral communication skills
Location: This position is in Wichita Falls, Texas.
